Overview

Virgin Games (later Virgin Interactive Entertainment) was a video game publishing company that was part of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group.¹²³⁴ Founded in 1983, the company published numerous titles across multiple platforms before being acquired by Titus Interactive in 2003.⁵⁶⁷⁸

Sierra Connection

Virgin Games published titles developed by studios that later worked with Sierra:

Synergistic Software: Virgin published Spirit of Excalibur (1990), Vengeance of Excalibur (1991), and Conan: The Cimmerian (1991) before Synergistic was acquired by Sierra in 1996.^9101112

Papyrus Design Group: Virgin Interactive published the original NASCAR Racing (1994) before Papyrus was acquired by Sierra in 1995.¹³¹⁴¹⁵
